Ellon Sub Aqua Club (ESAC) is a branch of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC), branch number 1193, and was formed in 1980.

We have approximately 46 members, which changes slightly every year. We have a very good number of instructors having 10 Instructors and 4 Assistant Instructors.

We welcome new divers and divers from other agencies. We also welcome young people aged 14 years and over. We have club kit which may be hired until newbies get their own. 

We are a training club and run pool training from September through to May on Thursday nights at Ellon swimming pool.  We have divers training within the club at every level from Ocean diver (the beginners) through to Advanced Diver (the experts!).

We have a club RIB which takes us to the great sites around the East and Moray Coasts, and even beyond.

Our club is run by the members for the members. Our main aim is to dive, have fun, and do it safely. We like to dive all year round in the UK and overseas, and to explore new sites.
